The agricultural resources and environment postdoctoral research mobile station was established in 2023 which relies on agricultural resources and environment discipline. This discipline has first-level disciplines for doctoral and master’s programs, and has been approved as a first-class discipline of Zhejiang Province and a key discipline of the State Forestry and Grassland Administration. The agricultural resources and environment major was selected as the national first-class undergraduate major.

There are 68 full-time teachers in the department of agricultural resources and environment discipline, including seven national special talents, six provincial special talents, one national outstanding teacher and one member of the College Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education. There are nine national and provincial/ministerial research platforms, including the State Key Laboratory for Subtropical Forest Cultivation and the Provincial Key Laboratory for Soil Restoration and Quality Improvement. In the past five years, the discipline has obtained more than 50 national projects, put in place research funds of 120 million yuan, and won 10 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards. It has published more than 300 research papers, including more than 140 papers in SCI journals such as Nature, Nature Communications and Science Advance, and 16 academic monographs and textbooks. Among them, sixteen SCI papers were selected as ESI highly cited papers, and one paper was selected as one of the 100 most influential international academic papers in China. The discipline has trained more than 10,000 personnel in local agriculture, land, environmental protection and other departments, and signed 218 cooperation projects with 106 enterprises and institutions.
